How the licence works
- What exactly am I paying for?
- The Om-E application — the browser intelligence, knowledge bases, research tools, and every surface of the product — licensed for a period of time. Model usage itself runs on providers you connect and pay directly, at their prices, with no markup from us.
- What do I need to bring?
- At least one AI provider. An OpenRouter key covers hundreds of models across every major lab; a ChatGPT plan can drive the brain via native sign-in; local models work too. You can mix them and switch whenever you like.
- Is this a subscription?
- Monthly and quarterly are — they renew automatically so your workspace never stops, and the cancel switch sits front and centre on your account page. Cancelling never claws anything back: you keep every day you've paid for, and the licence simply lapses at the end of the term. Annual and Business are one-time purchases.
- Will I be charged without warning?
- Never for a longer term: quarterly renewals get an email before the charge with the amount and date. And if auto-renew is off, we email you before your licence runs out — about a week ahead and again the day before — so nothing lapses by surprise.
- What happens when my licence expires?
- Om-E stops running turns until you extend. Your data — knowledge bases, topics, chats — is yours, stays on your machine, and is exactly where you left it when you come back.
- Do bigger terms unlock more features?
- No. Every term unlocks the same complete product — longer terms simply cost less per month.
- How does Business pricing work?
- Per deal: seats × term, with room for custom terms and procurement requirements. Get in touch and we'll price it for your team.
